$$$ & Superior Walls

So we closed on our loan yesterday - we are officially now living the American dream and in debt up to our eyeballs... oh well things are beginning to really take shape at the property. The Superior Walls guys set up the crane first thing this morning and leveled the footings round 9:30 the walls showed up about and hour later and things really got moving.

Notice the opening for the pub door is substantially larger than the one or the studio- its no optical illusion- there is an 8' door going in there.
The puppies already love that there is some shade somewhere now... They were excited after checking out the new digs.

Footers & Closing

Well some great news- We close on our loan tomorrow, and it is a good thing because the footers have been dug- and the Superior Walls come on Thursday Morning and the house will be here next Wednesday! We are waiting on the software and then I will get to post some videos- stay tuned for updates on Friday after we have some walls!

The Drain Field for the Septic

It Begins

So the big day finally came- this Wednesday July 15th, We finally broke ground on our house. We have waited so long for this Joseph and I were really excited- I was a little bummed that I wasn't able to be there as I was attending training in Chicago, but they did a great job! We still haven't closed on our loan yet, but our broker assures us it will be anytime now. We took some video, I just have to get the newest version of i'life to get it on to the computer so we can show you all! Sorry for the photos- they are with my camera phone, I will be out there tomorrow to get some good shots. Stay tuned as we put pictures up- the superior walls foundation goes up in about a week and a half and the house is suppose to arrive in 2-3 weeks- keep us in your thoughts and prayers for smooth sailing and so we can close on our loan soon.
